There was scratches found on the car and the dealship tried to fix them but could not. They need to take better care of their cars. I paided new car price for something that has alot of scratches on it. I had not had it one day and it already needed to go to the paint shop. And the majority of them are not fixed." They kept me posted on what they were doing but in the end I had to make the decision and I stayed with Mini and bought a Countryman. 2.5"My husband noticed a bubble on a tire. He is an ASE Certified Master Mechanic and in his opinion this was a defect in the tire. We had had the car for 18 months, so we did not expect full warranty coverage, but we did expect partial coverage. I was told at the dealership that the bubble was caused by a pothole or hitting a curb. I was also told my car requires the most expensive tires you carry. I thought I had no alternative other than replacing the tire. My husband was out of the country at the time, so I could not call him for advise. When he called later that night, I told him I had had the tire replaced at a cost of $352. He was very aggrieved by this, repeated that he thought we were going to get at least a pro-rated warranty, and he would never have replaced it at that cost. The run-flat tires have been unsatisfactory at best, they have worn unevenly and are very noisy. He said alternatively he would have replaced all 4 tires with less expensive, not run-flat tires.
